Of course the system restore didn’t work, fuck me. I’ve tried everything else I could find with a Google search, wtf is wrong with this thing. It was working fine one day and then it just wouldn’t find internet connection without me making any changes whatsoever. I’ve updated the adapter drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled them. I might have to visit IT here and see if they can figure it out, but it’s not a salem network problem, so they might not know.

Doing a system restore on my laptop to see if that will get me back on the Internet. Since before I came back to school I’ve not been able to connect to any networks or even see any available, even though my phone and my iPad work just fine with my college AND home networks. It hasn’t been a huge deal since I have my iPad, but I’d like to be able to turn in assignments and do research without having to go to the library all the time, especially since it’s not open when I’m feeling it’s productive. Ugggghh

This was ad-libbed by the voice actor, Craig Ferguson and they chose to keep it in because they loved it. Kids won’t get it but adults will be thinking “did he just imply what I think he implied?”

And later the director confirmed it.

DeBlois revealed that, the reason Gobber never got married, is because he is homosexual. This makes him the first homosexual character of the franchise, and even DreamWorks itself.

this is so stupid like when people were freaking out over the gay family in frozen. its a pathetic attempt at representation bye

do you guys wanna see him suck a dick or something?? Jesus Christ. Not every gay person is your stereotypical “gay person.” Relax pls.

The issue isn’t that he isn’t “acting gay,” it’s that he’s a Minor character with little screen time, and the fact that he’s gay is a tidbit trivia fact, not well-known or effectual in any way. It’s like Dumbledore turning out to be gay; revealing it as a fun fact after the series ends isn’t queer representation, it’s just trying to be trendy.

This is an interesting fact about the character, but it’s not representation.
